Microsoft Game Studios recently posted a bunch of recruitment notices up on its site specifically referring to the full fledged development of the next Halo project.
From Eurogamer:
Today, details are coming in about what Bungie intended to reveal at Microsoft's E3 press conference. While specific information about its upcoming Halo project remain a secret, the developer reportedly planned to show a sixty second "knock'em down" teaser trailer, only to have it pulled at the last minute.
Halo Wars, it's one hell of a big title, and one hell of a change from the traditional Halo gameplay. Halo games are known for fast action and quick intense fights. Real Time Strategy games on the other hand are famous, infamous to some, for their long drawn out sessions and slower, more methodical matches. Banking on Halo players to make the transition could be risky, not to mention that no console RTS has yet managed to prove as popular as it's PC counterpart. For their first ever non PC game Ensemble Studios, the people behind the acclaimed Age of Empires series, are confident that they've done the seemingly impossible and created a real RTS experience for the Xbox 360.
Microsoft said Wednesday that the decision to pull Bungie's latest Halo project from its E3 press conference was made to help trim the presentation, an "embarrassment of riches" already planned to be shown, and the feeling that the title deserved a more dedicated event.
XboxOZ360 recaps the news and then speculates as to what exactly the new Bungie Halo and Superintendent are.

Ilovebees.com has returned, the site was originally used to promote Halo 2 and has since been closed, until recently.
The Halo Wars team over at Ensemble have updated their site yesterday, adding some shots and info on two of the units set to feature in the game.
Ensemble Studios: We're going to be showing a recent build of the game. We have a milestone that is shortly before E3, so we're going to take a few days to test it and make sure it's running well, then take it to LA," explained the update. "A lot more of the game will be visible and hopefully we will be able to hand over the controller to let people try it for themselves. We've come a long way in the last year, so get ready for a new look under the hood."

GamePro has revealed the cover of their July issue, which contains new information on Halo Wars. According to GamePro's website, the article will feature new details regarding the Covenant and Spartans as well as new vehicles including prototype Elephants, Wolverines and Vultures. While we're certainly excited about the new Halo Wars details, what's even more interesting is that the cover also states that the article will discuss Halo Chronicles. Fans will recognize the name as one of the rumored titles for Peter Jackson's Halo project. Hopefully the article has some real details regarding the game because, thus far, we've got bupkis.
