PSU writes: "Haven't heard of the the elvish action-epic Elveon? It would be surprising, with the latest news coming straight from 2006. Additionally, this Unreal Engine 3 powered title was originally scheduled to release only on Xbox 360 and PC, leaving Sony's console in the dust.

Contrary to popular belief, Elveon hasn't been canned. You see, 10TACLE's stock value dropped from nearly 15€ to 2€, causing them to cut 25% of their work force. This staff slimming included 10TACLE Bratislava, the original Elveon development team. As a result, the project's reins have been handed to Climax, developer of such titles Silent Hill Origins and Viva Piñata for Windows.

On their official site's homepage, there is an image of Elveon with the header "New 360/PS3 Project."
The Shadow of Aten

From: Silicon Garaje Arts
Who did: It's their first game
And live in: Madrid, Spain

The subtitle The Egyptian Chronicles Of Allan Scott should you leave you in no doubt as to what this adventure title is all about. Yep, easy parallels can be drawn with Indiana Jones and Lara Croft games, and in fact Shadow's plot reads like that of The Last Crusade, give or take a year and a few different ancient artifacts. ...
Graceful. It's the one word that appears time and again throughout our hastily scribbled notes about Elveon, and even when the words next to it say something about gouging out a dude's liver with the blunt end of a spear, it's still there. And it appears time and again because even a year away from completion, this combat-driven PC and Xbox 360 RPG stands out as something special; as something worth ...
The three elaborately armored Parthan warriors circled us menacingly. Known for allowing crippled enemies to make a final, desperate revenge blow, we knew just one of these three scar-covered monsters would be a terrifying opponent.

Slowly and deliberately they close in. But just as in real life, it is difficult for multiple opponents to attack a single target at once without interfering with each other - especially with their heavy long swords. Sensing our only opportunity, we spin our ...
It's still a ways off from its release in the latter half of 2007 for Xbox 360 and PC, but we were able to get our hands on a playable demo to give the combat a spin and get some questions answered.
The State of RPGs: Xbox 360 (News)

Telling your friends you just bought an Xbox 360 wouldn't exactly indicate you'd just bought a machine with an RPG rich catalogue. As of right now, there's only one RPG available on the system, Bethesda's excellent The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and one MMORPG, Square's Final Fantasy XI. However, over the next few years the perception of the Xbox 360 is certain to change. Though not all are high-profile titles such as Final Fantasy, Valkyrie Profile, or Dragon Quest, there are a surprising number of role-playing titles in development for Microsoft's sleek white machine.
RPGs can arguably be described as the most vital genre for a console. Years after release, it's generally the RPGs that are remembered the fondest. After all, they've got detailed characters, intricate storylines, generally 20 or more hours of gameplay, and generally involve much more player emotional involvement and investment than other genres. One thing we're seeing on the Xbox 360 that wasn't evident on the Xbox is the support of Japanese RPGs. Microsoft and Mistwalker are teaming up to bring Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to Japan, a territory where Xbox 360 sales are as impressive as a slice of bread. Thankfully, Blue Dragon is also being brought West next year, giving American Xbox 360 gamers a chance to experience a big-budget JRPG on their next generation console.

Moving past Blue Dragon, BioWare is bringing its next big title to Xbox 360 as well. Mass Effect has been nothing but impressive so far. Since the franchise is planned as a trilogy across the Xbox 360's lifespan, we're hoping for great things. RPG fans will also get BioShock, a title from Irrational Games that looks so good it won our Overall Game of the Show award for E3 2006. A number of online multiplayer games are being developed for Microsoft's console as well, including EA's Project Gray Company, Sega's Phantasy Star Universe, an upcoming Marvel MMO, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Other games such as Elveo...
