What we didn't get to play - and where we expect a great deal of fun to potentially come from - is the co-op mode. Sure, we had computer-controlled teammates, but that's... well, you know how that is. Irrelevant, unless they're total geniuses (and Gears of War couldn't even get it right, so what's the hope that EDFX does? Slim to none.) We also didn't get to spend as much time as we want to with the weaponry - though dozens of rifles, shotguns and bombs were listed in the pre-level loadout screen, we messed around with only a handful. This is a game that's all about numbers. The cityscapes overwhelmed by enemies are just the tip of the iceberg, here.
