Duke Nukem 3D confirmed for XBLA

3D Realms shooter coming with achievements, co-op and online play

The rumours were true; 3D Realm's classic FPS Duke Nukem 3D is coming to Xbox Live Arcade.

3D Realms boss Scott Miller has confirmed that the downloadable version of Duke's '96 outing is coming with online multiplayer support, achievements, Xbox Live score boards and a co-op mode.

"We're really excited about bringing classic Duke to the 360," said Miller in an interview with Dallas Business Journal.

You may recall that way back in August 2007, Duke Nukem dev 3D Realms revealed it wanted to get Duke Nukem 3D onto Xbox Live Arcade.

"Truth be told, we've talked to Microsoft about it and have some people that would port it... Just waiting on the good word from Microsoft to continue," 3D Realms' George Broussard said at the time. Took them long enough…
