News from owners of Sega's bum-bashing (as in homeless folks, not anything else you dirty minded person) Condemned 2 are discovering that their PS3 iterations of the game are coming complete with a really bloody irritating bug.

It transpires that the sound is dropping out every 30 seconds or so, not exactly helping with the suspense of slowly meandering your way through those dark and dreary levels.

The game was bloody, scary, and a great time for people who like a little tactical fighting and survival horror in their first-person titles. That is, before the game decided that eating the save-game file was a great idea.

It's a feeling like ice water entering your veins. You restart the console, sign back into your profile, still, no luck. The game wants you to start from the beginning. All that time... just gone. What's even weirder is that the achievements are still there, as are the save game files themselves. Everything is, apparently, sitting happily on my hard drive. The game just refuses to let me begin where I left off. A quick search shows that other people around the Internet are having the same problem.

Note: Issue only confirmed on the 360 version.

SEGA is currently targeting 28th March for the release of Condemned 2: Bloodshot on PS3 and 360, and has also updated dates for Samba de Amigo on Wii and others.

Samba de Amigo will be out in summer, the publisher told Eurogamer. In the meantime, Brain Assist DS is due on 14th March, with Happy Tree Friends due for PC and 360 in summer.

SEGA Superstars Tennis, as reported recently, is down for 20th March on several formats including 360 and Wii, with Viking: Battle for Asgard PS3/360 and SEGA Bass Fishing and House of the Dead II & III Return for Wii on 28th March.

Valkyria Chronicles is due for PS3 this summer also.

Sega has announced the second part of Condemned, this new title will arrive for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at the beginning of 2008.

In Condemned 2: Bloodshot, we will return to take the paper from Ethan Thomas who will be surrounded in the investigation of the disappearance of his old companion. By means of a varied arsenal of firearms and forceful objects, with a new battle system with a series of new tools of high technology, the player will have to solve the murders.
