This explosive dose of new footage from Call of Duty 3, the souped-up war shooter heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, promises some truly shattering action - including destructible environments, mass conflict and a few alarmingly low-flying aircraft. Hit the movies tab above for the exciting new vid.

We hunkered down in the mud for a gameplay session just last month, and 360 gamers will get to sign up to the cause before Christmas; PS3 owners will obviously have to wait a bit longer, though. But Call of Duty 3 looks to be marching the series into ever-more thrilling territory so, however long you have to wait, we're sure it'll be worth it.
