Popular WWII shooter goes to Hell

An announcement was made today that the Brothers in Arms series of first-person WWII squad-based shooters will receive a new installment to its ranks. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is currently in development for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms and will focus on Operation Market Garden, an offensive designed to bring a quick end to the war back in 1944.

Little information has been released for this title so far, but we're told you'll be able to divide your forces into three separate "fire teams", in order to maneuver around what will surely be some of the smartest enemies ever conceived. We'll be sure to dig up more intel by the time  Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway ships out in late 2006.
