Battlestar Galactica is a difficult game to judge. On the one hand, it doesn't seem nearly as good as it should be. On the other hand, it is kinda fun to fly around and blow the bejeezus out of Cylon fighters.

Battlestar Galactica should really be a clone of classics like Wing Commander, Freespace, or Colony Wars. All of the elements are there - giant capital ships with ridiculous weapons systems populated by swarms of one-man fighters; two sides locked in an epic struggle; and the vast ...
Microsoft sends word that continuing on from last week's brilliant releases (E4 and Speedball II) on Xbox Live Arcade, this week sees the excellent Exit and slightly less exciting Battlestar Galactica arrive on Xbox 360.

Taito's Exit was originally released on PSP with 220 levels of puzzle escaping fun. Now, it's looking even prettier on XBLA and is yours for 800 Microsoft points ($10/£6.80). This one's not to be missed.

Battlestar Galactica meanwhile has you leading a ...
Both titles will cost 800 Microsoft Points each. Battlestar Galactica has been developed from scratch by Sierra for Xbox 360 and PC. Sierra isn't about to let the large casual fanbase pass on by. In an effort to capitalize on the blossoming gaming segment, Sierra is dedicating considerably resources to unleash a flurry of new games to Xbox Marketplace and PC in the next few months. IGN had the chance to check out six of these titles, all of which will be available on both XBLA and the PC by Q1 2008.

EA has employed some recognizable actors and real-life news personalities to take on roles in the live-action story sequences of the upcoming C&C3.
Williams is famous for his role as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and Helfer is known as the humanoid Cyclon "Number Six" in Battlestar Galactica. Other actors include Josh Holloway (Lost), Michael Ironside (Total Recall, Sam Fisher's voice in Splinter Cell series), Grace Park (Battlestar Galactica), Ivana Bozilovic (Van Wilder) and Shauntay Hinton (Miss USA pageant winner).
In addition, Las Vegas FOX affiliate anchorman John Huck and CNN freelancer Shanon Cook will bring breaking developments of the game's story.
Joe Kucan will be reprising his role as Kane, the leader of the antagonistic Brotherhood of NOD organization.
C&C3 is slated to release for PC sometime next year.
