KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child – 2000
Critical shred: “Overall, it left a bitter taste in my mouth.” - ActionTrip
Whoda thunk that the band that gave us lyrics like “Shout it. Shout it. Shout it loud” and “Lick it up. Lick it up. Oooooooooooooh” would have produced the incredibly unimaginative gameplay found on PC and the Dreamcast? This one is kind of a cop-out since you actually play as a Kiss tribute band, which is notable as the single moment of licensing restraint from a band that’s already sanctioned bicycle shorts, midget cover bands and a f**king coffin. Those are cool, but appearing in a videogame? “We’re just not comfortable with that.” says the band currently selling bibs and wine on its website.
