Yesterday, Marvel and Netflix released the first full trailer for Iron Fist, and since this is the internet, people have strong opinions about it. We jumped on Twitter to gather some wide-ranging reactions to this introduction of the Defenders’ final team member.

There was a lot of love for Claire Temple

And a lot of excitement about the show overall

Many noticed similarities to Arrow and Batman Begins

But one guy looked even further back in history for inspiration

Some were bothered by representation and cultural appropriation issues

Others think it’ll fall into the standard Netflix formula

But it wouldn’t be Twitter without jokes
