Fi from Skyward Sword. The obvious choice would be Navi, but Fi is Navi with no personality, no snark, no attitude. So not only do you have this person that won't shut up, it feels like you are listening to a calculator or Microsoft Samantha speak to you.

Did you ever phone that man who wanted to find your one article?
  • LuckRequired - February 25, 2014 3:30 p.m.

Ellie from The Last of Us.
  • shawksta - February 25, 2014 8:23 p.m.

HECK YAH, Good to know others think so too.
  • winner2 - February 25, 2014 1:15 p.m.

Personally I hate John Marston. Actually, I just hate his game, so let me think. I hate Citra for stabbing me when I wanted to live as a warrior in tune with Jason's true self.

Squall, Final Fantasy VIII. I don't care if there is a good reason for it, he's an a-hole.

Has a game ever made you cry? It could be happy tears, sad tears, or maybe even tears of laughter.
  • brickman409 - February 24, 2014 10:34 p.m.

If you had the choice between either world peace or a billion dollars, what color would your Lamborghini be?
  • GoldenEagle1476 - February 24, 2014 6:31 p.m.

What's your favorite, or most memorable, achievement/trophy?
  • EAC73 - February 24, 2014 5:48 p.m.

What game did you guys used to love, but now hate?
  • Vonter - February 24, 2014 4:30 p.m.

Fi, the most tack on hand holding device ever. Also her distant cousin Monita.
  • shawksta - February 24, 2014 4:52 p.m.

Im the very low amount minority here, but i feel Fi if anything is the best partner Link ever got, but she wasnt fun for us.
  • Vonter - February 24, 2014 5:13 p.m.

Why? I suppose different tastes but I didn't felt any chemistry between these partners, not even the obvious Master and Servant relationship, since she was more of a robot/slave than actual character... unless I missed something?
  • shawksta - February 24, 2014 5:18 p.m.

Usually its more unique and better to get a helper with a personality but i feel Fi's concept as the Hero's guidance as well as her connection to goddess Hylia and such were greatly executed, but only in concept, her constantly bothering us about the Obvious was annoying but i liked what for what she was meant as.
  • Vonter - February 24, 2014 5:23 p.m.

Yeah the concept was good, even though Ghirahim had actual character despite being a same kind of creature as Fi. But also Link's partners have many times being his passive voice, telling a reaction to something amazing or when taking decisions. Fi felt very detached, not just from Link but also from the player.
  • shawksta - February 24, 2014 9:38 p.m.

It was well understanding considering what Ghirahim even is, he's much more advanced than Fi, talking in fractions instead of percentages.Funny though, you dont realize till the final fight with him when he's all black and looking exactly like Fi's species and even then what happened to him before the final boss was just damn. Speaking of impressive DAT ROBOT PIRATE, NOT A SINGLE TIME STONE ANYWHERE, HE IS LITERALLY STILL FUNCTIONING ALL THESE YEARS, GODDAMN.
  • Vonter - February 24, 2014 10:17 p.m.

Analog machines are timeless, only take out the sand, add oil and wind it up. Also it helps if you use a metal that takes centuries to get rust.
  • shawksta - February 25, 2014 10:33 a.m.

Obviously, but talking about the games context, it was amazing.
  • talleyXIV - February 27, 2014 5:56 p.m.

Midna was an enjoyable and interesting character, and her ability to teleport made the adventure a lot more efficient and fun.
  • shawksta - February 27, 2014 7:22 p.m.

I know she was, Midna was great and one of the more interesting partners.
