Varus League of Legends Champion Roundtable

Every few weeks, Riot Games launches a new champion for League of Legends, and the community immediately erupts into endless debate. Some will always think that anything new is overpowered, while others will complain that the new champions need massive buffs in order to compete with the older ones that players have already mastered. We feel like ending that debate, one champion at a time, and we'll be tackling every new champion alongside our good friends at PC Gamer to help you decide whether or not the new champions are worth buying.

This week, we take on Varus, the Arrow of Retribution. How does this ranged DPS carry play? Find out in the video above.

And be sure to leave us feedback as to things you want us to discuss or show off while we play these new characters - your opinion is valuable to us, and we want to make sure we give you the absolute best League of Legends coverage we can.

I'm also not a fan of his look but he plays...fine I suppose but when I think of AD carries, I prefer playing others like MF, Caitlyn or Tristana.

I'm pleasantly surprised this came out before its available (at least for me). This really helps my judgement on whether to get him when he releases. Thanks, and always love the videos.

I'm going to have to disagree with the video guys and get him when he comes out. He looks like a romp! I hope he has a nice skin pack. I can't wait to add him to my AD dps roster.

He's very strong but very squishy. You have to be able to get off his combos for his true potential to shine through. I'm currently experimenting with various builds for him, and I have to say I'm no "Phreak" about trinity force but man does it boost his damage output.
