Modern Warfare 2's first DLC, the Stimulus Package, arrives on Xbox Live on the 30th of March. It comprises five multiplayer maps (three brand new, two from Call of Duty 4), and as internet flame-rage has probably already brought to your attention, it clocks in at 1200 Microsoft Points. To whet your appetite, Inifinity Ward has dropped two new snacks for your eyeballs. And here they are.
First up is your common or garden gameplay trailer, showing off the new maps in all their rubble-bursting, UAV-jamming glory:
And then we've got the lighter-hearted approach, continuing IW's 'Mapathy' self-help gag. In it, 'Mapatrician' Dr. Kyle Bierman details just how the new map pack will ease the suffering of those afflicted with the mental degradation caused by camping the same old spots, day after day:
But what do you think? Will the Stimulus Package rekindle your love of CoD? Are new maps all you need in order jump merrily back into the fray? Or is the whole Mapathy schick a bit rich for a 1200 Point pack comprising 40% recycled content? And is Battlefield: Bad Company 2 taking your attentions away from MW2 these days? Let us know in the comments, and through the official GR channels on Facebook and Twitter.
And be sure to tune back in at 3PM GMT today, when we'll have an interview with IW community honcho Robert 'Fourzerotwo' Bowling addressing some of these questions.
