I saw Hudson Hawk and Last Action Hero for the first time a year or so ago, and neither was really as bad as I'd grown up believing. A little distance has helped them, I think, since they're less serious action movies than what was out at that time, and what have come since. That Hudson Hawk EGM was a Hell of a thing, though, I remember those super busy EGM covers from the 90's.

Last Action Hero is awesome. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

I second and third this. If you're expecting a 'serious' action film staring Arnie (is there such a thing?), then of course you're going to be disappointed by The Last Action Hero. It's great at what it is, and that's a bit of a piss-take on the action genre as a whole. Also, Die Hard Trilogy was one of my favourite games on the PSOne. Ignore Die Hard Trilogy 2 though

I disagree about there "never being a great Terminator game." Blasting endoskeletons and hundreds of Ahnulds in T2: The Arcade Game blew my ten-year old mind, along with most of my allowance and holiday presents on home versions. Even though I can see right through the blatant quarter-stealing moves now (like the truck level and not getting the "good" ending unless you destroyed every goddamned electrical appliance at Cyberdyne), I still love the hell out of that game, and fire up MAME occasionally to play it. I'd love to get an original cabinet, but I bet the ones that do exist are in sorry shape.
