Everytime I read an article about how Final Fantasy 7 isn't going to be remade, I die a little inside.

Now everyone knows and SE should know as well that a remake of this genre changing game would sell probably more than any other FF game to date. Of course, it would take several years to make and several millions of dollars to complete, but in the end SE would probably make a ton more profit than the first time on a newly revised version. FFVII is what changed the RPG genre on its head and helped pave the way for future iterations of the series. Embracing a revision of this magnitude would, more than likely, attract all of its followers back tenfold. Make it happen NOW will surely not regret it!!!

it doesnt matter if its expensive or not for square :| they got all of those FF games that EVERYONE plays and that hit game "The World Ends With You" for the DS (quite possibly the most/best "stylus active" game for the DS that i have ever seen imo). the question isnt "who will do it?", or "how much are we talking?" or "when will we finish?" chances are the answer for the first 2 are they have a special team to remake it and "who gives a crap redo it and redo it now!" that only leaves one :)
