The Top 7... Rockin' intros

2. Suikoden III (PlayStation 2, 2002)

There's no denying this intro. If we didn't stipulate "rock" this might make it in at number one. But, let's face it - if you're not pedantic about what "rock" means, this intro most definitely does. Though there's not a hint of guitar, and the lower drum-fueled tempo is more of a groove than a scorcher, its quality is beyond denial.

If only the whole game had been this good. Watching it before every play session was a fantastic way to motivate yourself for the tedious slog! Oh well.
