@geigan: yes, you DO win an award!: DOUCHEBAG OF THE YEAR! nah, i'm kidding, that's actually the arguement i'd make. and sorry about the triple post.

charlie barratt what i wouldn't give for that name.(my PS3) you're only 1 letter from a .50 cal! (for the ones who don't know much about guns, i'm on about the Barrett .50 cal.) and i'm probably wrong, but wasn't the guy called charlie barrett? i'll research and post back.

how does no one get a siezure out of this

@jimsondanet For sheer pointlessness I'll argue that n actually takes longer to say than D. While when you spell out their pronunciation, dee is longer than en, en actually takes longer to say out loud because it is a vowel sound as opposed to dee's consonant sound. nine is just right out as it is an entire word. Go ahead and say each out loud to yourself. D is the clear winner as you barely have to move your tongue to say it and the 2 es afterwords follow so fast as to be almost non-existent whereas n you have to wait for the vowel to pass before you can get to the cosonant for it to coherently sound correct. Do I get some sort of award for winning the most pointless argument ever? Linguistics FTW!

  • jimsondanet - April 15, 2009 8:32 a.m.

naw you gotta take into account how long it actually takes to say such names. by the universal laws of ryhme i can deduce the actual shortest name. (pine,fine)nine,9 (flee, pee)dee,D (pen, hen)en,N N wins. recaptcha: Patty well-trained patty still dumb.

  • CH3BURASHKA - April 15, 2009 1:22 a.m.

I thought this was an article about games that had short playthroughs, not names, damnit! Speaking of which, if you haven't played "You Have to Burn the Rope", do it NOW. It's extremely short but has an awesome song at the end. reCaptcha: aft margins

  • Greed - April 15, 2009 12:12 a.m.

You guys forgot WTF (Work Time Fun), the japanese PSP minigame compilation; Also, I agree 9 should win since the list before it is grouped taking into consideration the space it takes on the page. 9 D N 9 is a wee bit shorter. Captcha: Nautilus Macon
  • twishart - April 15, 2009 12:03 a.m.

Now hang on just a second - the game 'N' actually uses a LOWERCASE n for it's title - I would argue that's actually LOWER than D. In size, amount of pixels, and alphabetical 'rank'. captcha: weiner rich - how appropriate
  • ThunderMuffinsMcgee - April 14, 2009 10:24 p.m.
