Alternate Stage Music

Hold down L/R while selecting a stage in Multiplayer Mode and keep either it held until the match starts. If done properly, the stage will have different music than usual. Here are the stages this trick works on:

Destroy Guns In Coneria

Jump off the ship and land on the guns. Make sure they are not shooting first otherwise you'll die. Once on the guns keep doing attacks that strike downward and eventually the guns will blow up and be destroyed.

WARNING: Once you destroy the guns you will lose a life because you will fall through the guns.

Mario is not the only mispelling at the pokemon stadium! if you pick a charecter that has a name that starts with an "M" such as Mario, Marth, Mr. Game & Watch, Mewtwo, & Dr. Mario. insted of spelling the right names on the screen it will say this Nario, Narth, Nr. Game & Watch, Newtwo, & Dr. Nario.

Misspelling at Pokemon Stadium

You know at the pokemon stadium stage that big score board? Well, go to stamina melee, choose Ness and Mario for your 2 players, and then select Pokemon Stadium. Now go to the center and stand on the pokeball and pause the game. Look. Instead of Mario it will say Nario.

Get 145+ Combos in Training Mode

To do this all u will need is 2 controllers. This is quite complicated but dont fear i'll talk u through it. First go on training mode. Choose any character (Apart from C.Falcon and Ganondorf) and go on green greens. When the game starts go to one of the holes which fill up with blocks and attack them so there's only one level of boxes left like this:

Then stand on the middle box and don't let any boxes fall on the middle one like this:

And then let the boxes build up around you to at least 2 boxes a side like this:

|_| _ |_|
|_||_||_|

Then press start and set the CPU to human. Use the second controller and make the CPU jump in the hole where you're stood. Then press start and set item to red shell. Then press A until red shells stop appearing and then press start again to get off the menu. Then you must do a charged down smash on the shells. That will do 999 damage to you and the CPU. It will also do 145 or more (and sometimes less) combos. It does the most combos with the Ice Climbers. This should get you 2 trophies as well unless you've already got them. See! Told you it was complicated!

Mario and Dr. Mario Super Jump

Jump like you normally would, but instead of pressing up B, do Mario's cape attack. He will go up a little, then use the Mario tornado while pressing B continuously. If done correctly, he should go even higher. Then press up, B, and he should go nearly twice as high as he is supposed to!

Easy Way of Unlocking the Celebi Trophy

Instead of having to try and find Celebi's Pokeball in Classic Mode or Adventure Mode, just play Verse Mode for a certain amount of times, and eventually you'll have Celebi for your keeping!

Good hitters

Dk:use your headbutt to bury sandbag in the ground.then attack with the hand slap.when the time reaches 1, use the bat

Fox:just use his blaster. its that simple. when the time reaches 1, hit sandbag with the bat.

Yoshi: jump a little in the air(give X or Y jump buttons a slight push) and in the air, use yoshi's down a attack. then sock sandbag with the bat when the time reaches 1

2a. Kongo Jungle
Two tiny Donkey Kongs will battle you. Tip: There is a Barrel Cannon moving under the
stage If you don't know, a Barrel Cannon is an
item that shoots you whenever you press A if you are inside it. It can help you survive.

2b. Jungle Japes
You battle Giant Donkey Kong. Tips: A Klap Trap is in the river . If someone touches it, they usually are KO'd. The river flows only one way: right to left. If you are on the right side of the stage and you fall into the river, you have a high chance of being KO'd if you don't jump out instantly.

Mushroom Kingdom (Adventure Mode)

1a.Mushroom Kingdom
You race to the finish line with Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and Koopa Paratroopas blocking you. Sometime in the middle, you will battle a team of Yoshis. Tips: Goombas sometimes produce trophies when you step on them. Koopa Paratroopas (red shelled) fly up and down. Koopa Troopas go every direction except diagonally. If you complete the game wih the time ##:#2:##, you will face Luigi instead of Mario in the next part of that level.

1b. Mushroom Kingdom
You will face Peach and Mario. You can face Luigi instead of Mario if you make the previous part's time ##:#2:## (noted previously). Tips: Sometimes buttons appear on the floor of the stage. Step on them to make more platforms and blocks that produce items when hit. A giant Bullet Bill sometimes drills into Princess Peach's Castle. Since it gives a huge, damaging explosion, it is best if you get away from it as fast and as far as possible.

If you complete the Adventure match on Normal, Hard, or Very Hard difficulty within 18 minutes and do not continue Giga bowser appears, after you fight regular bowser. Giga bowser is a monstrous version of bowser. Defeat bowser to get the Giga bowser trophy.

Best people to use on the sand bag contest

I have found by using yoshi i have gotten over 1,516 ft on the contest. First grab the bat then jump over the sand bag and press down (B) do this repeatidly and very very quicklythen hit the sand bag.
Then Fox, use his ray gun after you grab the bat use the ray gun repeatidly because it doesnt move the bag but it still hurts it. Then smack it.

Event 50

First, select Yoshi. Then, when you start quickly keep doing the *Midair A Down* attack which makes Yoshi kick his feet in the air. First do it on the Master Hand (the one to the right). Do not attempt to attack Crazy Hand (the one to the left). Continue to do the Midair A Down until until master hand is defeated. Now repeat the same thingon crazy hand to beat the event.

Event 51

Select Jigglypuff, start by flying up to bowser head (almost in it) and do the (B Down attack on him, you'll start sleeping but get hit by either mewtwo or ganondorf. Continue hitting Bowser with the B Down until he lost his 3 lives. Now stay to the edge of the stage allowing ganondorf (and Mewtwo) to follow you. Start flying by the side, a little off the stage and allow gannondorf (and Mewtwo)to get to the edge where you are and ganondorf will try to jump and grab you (up and b is the attack he uses), then immediatly press L or R to dodge him. He'll fall off the stage and die. Do it repeatedly until he lost his 3 lives. Then defeat Mewtwo by hand. Hint: When Mewtwo is off the stage trying to get back, do your smash attack.

unlock ganondorf:beat event match 29 or play vs mode 600 times.
unlock young link:beat classic mode with 8 chacters,link,and zelda.
unlock dr. mario:beat classic mode without losing a stock as mario.
unlock falco:clear the 100 multi man melee mode.
unlock pichu:clear event match 37 or play vs mode 200 times.
unlock luigi:clear the first part of mushroom kingdom with a 2 in the seconds place (example 3:32)or play vs mode 800 times.
unlock jigglypuff:just beat classic or adventure mode with anybody on any difficulty.
unlock mewtwo:play vs mode 700 times or get 20 hours in combined vs play time.
unlock marth:play vs mode with every original characters or play vs mode 70 times.

Underground Maze and Temple (Adventure Mode)

3a. Underground Maze
You have to reach the Triforce (three triangles spinning around and around) to exit the maze. ReDeads, Octoroks, and Like Likes are going to try to stop you. Tip: You can collect trophies here. ReDeads (look like humans who have had 4 times the regular alcohol drunk people usually drink and they have never used lotion in their life) give you damage and paralyze you for a while. Octoroks (look like octopi with snouts) shoot
ink balls at you. Like Likes (squirm around and look very scaly) try to swallow you and throw you. Links are behind the doors with Master Swords (swords stuck in stones) in front of them. There are five links in all.

3b. Temple
You fight Zelda/Sheik.

Brinstar (Adventure Mode)

1a. Brinstar
You have to defeat Samus Aran. Tip: The acid rises, so be cautious. On the left and right platform, there is bubbly acid holding them If you break them with your opponent on it, the platform willact like a slingshot. Somewhere on the base of the stage, there are logs that can be lowered down to make a hole in the middle of the floor.

1b. Brinstar (WARNING!)
Planet Zebes, the home of Brinstar, is about to explode. You have 40 sec. to escape. Jump all the way to the highest platform. Tip: Don't panic. Jump as fast as you can!

Knock the sandbag further in homerun challenge

First, go to homerun challenge (In 1P mode)
Next, pick anyone
Third, hit the beg(kick or punch) until it is kinda damaged
Then, grab the homerun bat and hit >A simultaneously. it should go at least 500ft if u do this right. There's a problem with C.Falcon so you'll just have to use falcon punch or something

A good hitter for the home run contest

Use the ice climbers to get a high score, first grab the bat then turn around and use the B move where they shoot ice blocks, do that repeatedly until the time reaches one and then smash the bab with the bat. I've gotten almost a thousand feet!

Unlock Psycho Hand

To verse Psycho Hand, unlock everything. 290 Trophies, all stages, all characters, sound test, score display, beat classic, adventure, all-star, beat all characters targets, and beat the event matches. As soon as you finish one last thing that leads you to Psycho Hand, you get teleported with the character you used to Final Destination. If you beat Psycho Hand, he's playable, ONLY on Classic in Hard Mode.

If you don't know how to unlock Mewtwo, then I'll teach you. to get him you'll have to play VS mode for 20 hours. But thats imposible. So intead, do a two player VS mode game and then leave the gamecube on over night. The next day turn on the TV beat up the other player then BAM! Mewtwo shows up: beat him and get him!

Easy Roy and Marth trick

First Go to vs. mode Put cpu as Yoshi with no handicap then Put stock on only one life. Now start with the person you're worst with and kill yoshi with every character (best person last) Marth will challenge you win you have Marth. Now Go to Classic And use Marth don't die once and Roy will challenge you win and (Roy is awesome) you now have him.

Finish Simple (Classic) Mode on any
difficulty setting without losing a life as Mario.

Note: Dr. Mario is a Mario clone just with different looks...in other words he has the same moves except for his b attack...in which normally if playing as Mario when you press B he'll shoot a fireball. While playing as Dr. Mario he'll throw a pill instead.

Finish the 100 Man Spar mode (under Colesseum.)

Note: Falco, is to Fox as Dr. Mario is to Mario. In other words, Falco is a clone of Fox...he has all the same moves except for his B attack. Falco's B attack is just a stronger version of Fox's B attack.

Unlock Gannondorf

The only requirement is that you clear Event 29 in Event Mode. This requires you to beat some other events. Just keep beating events until 29 is playable. In event 29 you, Link, and your ally, Zelda, try to beat Ganondorf. IT is rather hard if you are not used to Link, but don't give up.

Note:Gannondorf isnt an exact copy of Captain Falcon but his moves are sorta based on C. Falcons moves. However they are much stronger

Unlock Luigi

Beat Stage One of Adventure mode with a time in which the number of seconds ends in a 2. One example is with 4:12 seconds left before time runs out. On the next stage the game will play a scene of Luigi jumping off Mario's head to get into the fight. Beat him and Peach in under 45 seconds. Clear the rest of the adventure mode and Luigi will challenge you. Defeat him to unlock him.

Also reported as:

Complete Adventure Mode as Pikachu. Pikachu's box on the select screen will be pushed down and will occupy a ? box. Luigi will take his place on the select screen.

Note: Luigi's moves are different from the way they were in SSB but his B moves are pretty much the same.

Complete Simple (Classic) Mode with every default character (that's 14 of them). Mr. Game & Watch will challenge you. Defeat him to play as him.

Get Koopa and Perin

To get Koopa beat adventure mode, classic, and allastar on very hard. ON the homerun contest hit on 1 char. 1300. Beat 10 man melee, 100 man melee, 3 min melee, 15 min melee, and kill a minimum of five guy on cruel melee. Do all 51 event matches, Do all break the targets and you must have mr game and watch to do this.

To get Perin beat adventure mode, classic mode, and allstar with koopa. Beat koopas break the targets and the home run contest. there may be more but im not sure
