Mewtwo is a cool feature and all, but I still wish they would have put Roy back in. They could change the moveset up to make it vary from Marth's. And honestly, the put characters like Dark Pit and Dr. Mario in. The only other character I would have liked to see return is Snake, but ah well.

Characters tat I thought would if been added or might of been nice additions: Toad, as his own character King Boo, though likely final smash could of been similar to Pit or Jigglypuff Waluigi, they have Wario after all Knuckles, Tails or Shadow. Though Sonic was probably difficult enough to get these three could of proven nice addtions. While Shadow may end up similar to Wolf (being a similar move set to the protagonist of the series with a darker mindset) Knuckles and Tails could of easily provendors unique skill sets and Shadow could have some more sinister versions thus distinguishing the two A Metroid, though this premise may seem quite unlikely the name of the game is Metroid and I think it would prove interesting to see what SSB could do with the creature Ridley also probably would of proven a little difficult and like Bowser would need to of been shrunk, but again would of been interesting and I feel like Metroid needs a little more representation in this game Wind Waker Zelda or Ganondorf. This may seem unnecessary bu they put in Toon Link so why not? And over the course since Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released me and my friends have talked about dozens of another characters from old and new world's alike though sadly I've forgotten many of them. Obviously we knew all weren't like and about 3-5 dozen characters couldn't get in for one new SSB but you never know what to expect from SSB. To all my other Brawlers, enjoy, good luck and happy brawling

    >60 FPS >1080P >On the Fucking Wii U >Xbone and PS4 are struggling to reach 60 >Fucking Nintendo is doing Next Gen better than Next Gen. Nintendo may be in deep shit, and still is, and have by far the most last gen mindset of all console developers and developers in general, but holy fuck they know how to optimize their console.
  • michelkeepertje - October 24, 2014 2:18 a.m.

That's basically the only positive about nintendo's "closed" way of work. Third party developers often just create ports for the nintendo consoles, but when nintendo or a party under guidance of nintendo develops purely for the system, it is fully optimised and will compete with if not defeat a lot of the "next gen" games. If third party developers would actually take the time to get to know the WiiU and not just port for it, it would be just as good a console option as the PS4 and XBONE, of course somewhat lacking in power but the price and free online play make up for it.
  • Vonter - October 24, 2014 7:20 p.m.

Ok let's be real, Nintendo delays more often than not several of their games, third parties have to tinker with several systems to really having time to optimize to that level, although that mega patch for Titanfall, yeah, I think that could have been better optimized. Finally third parties heavily market their games with presentation, if they show any content is only tangent to how good it looks. Nintendo on the other hand sells their games more in regards to mechanics and features.
  • Psylockerules - October 23, 2014 5:33 p.m.

Is this gonna be a system seller? Without a doubt. This is incredible.after that stream had 3 mates let me know theyre buying a WiiU
  • Vonter - October 23, 2014 5:47 p.m.

Wii U is the perfect party system without doubt. All the others are mainly for SP.
  • shawksta - October 20, 2014 3:03 p.m.

"50 Must See things" THE RUSE CRUISE HASNT STOPPED I hope you guys do the podcast AFTER it so you can manage to talk about it. I know you mostly do it on Thursdays and all.
  • winner2 - October 20, 2014 11:22 a.m.

How many times are they going to talk about it before they release it?
  • shawksta - October 20, 2014 3:01 p.m.

Yeah well we kinda NEED them to talk about the Wii U version given it needs reasons to be bought other than "Its the same game in HD"
  • _--_ - October 7, 2014 11:02 p.m.

--exciting! --i hope this game can play its deemed role to keep wiiU 'respectable' --or give it a chance to stay respectable --oh who am i kidding? --wiiU is the most disrespected console ever to grace the face of the planet --but --still --fingers crossed
  • shawksta - October 10, 2014 8:52 p.m.

Miracles can happen. Im not gonna forget how negatively Super Mario 3D World was received at E3, until the October Trailer and the game coming out knocked people off of their socks.
  • _--_ - October 10, 2014 11:18 p.m.

--still though --SMB3DW only went on to sell 2.7 million units --i weekly watch sales #s --and during its release --wiiU sales didnt go up AT ALL --MK8 pushed wiiU sales up DRAMATICALLY(still wiiU sells about 50,000 units a week~before MK8 wiiU was lucky to sell 30,000 a week) --but sales are declining --and if SSBwiiu is a 'bust' --games like splatoon and bayonetta --they just arent 'system sellers' --and wiiU is getting ready to be 3 years old --i mean --PS4 and (the newly matched price)XB1 are REALLY 'picking up'(im talking kaboom through the ceiling) --heres to hoping ssbwiiU is top notch --because --unless nintendo drops a MAGICAL zelda in 2015 --wiiU sales are gonna landslide
  • winner2 - October 11, 2014 1:17 p.m.

He's right you know, I think you're being too optimistic. We all know smash bros is going to be fine. It's more smash bros. But will this save the wii u? Nope. It'll have some great games that you can't play anywhere else, but it's the gamecube again.
  • Camelslayer - October 13, 2014 1 p.m.

I feel the need to point out that the Wii U doesn't *need* saving.
  • shawksta - October 13, 2014 6:22 p.m.

I wasnt pushing the point that it will, im trying to compare that stuff happens when you least expect it. I am accepting the Wii U as the gamecube, great games with lose sales.
