Look closely at her name as it fades to black! Her hands make the motions to write "J"! They may follow with what we all think!

At first I'm watching it like ahh so this is the Running Man (ah woman of course) with a portal gun?! Then it kinda got better. It was good but I wouldn't say awesome.

My favorite was when Jesus opened the door. "Did somebody say.. pizza?"
  • canaryfarmer - May 31, 2011 5:34 p.m.

I'm assuming this was created/filmed before the end of Portal was modified--she has the gun, the full jumpsuit of the first game and no cube.

Also according to the Bring your Sons and Daughters to work day exibit, Chell made a potato battery/ Model Volcano when she was a girl :S Don't mean to poke holes in this masterpiece but they just stand out to me :/
  • ChrisMacDee - May 31, 2011 5:30 p.m.

Chell got dragged from the Aperture Science car park at the end of Portal 1 by something resembling Atlas did she not? I take it this must be what would have happened if Chell got away at the end of Portal 1. :/ Amazing otherwise :D

I don't know much about the universe of Portal, but they should have made that portal gun smaller.
  • billywitchdr - May 31, 2011 5:07 p.m.

Amazing. Simple, yet powerful. By the way, @The_Tingler revised ending?
  • ithurtstopoop - May 31, 2011 4:26 p.m.

    yes! bring back betamax!
  • The_Tingler - May 31, 2011 4:23 p.m.

Utterly loved it. Particularly: 1. The stupid uses of the Portal gun, like rolling out of bed and Chell scratching her back. 2. God being on the credits, responsible for "financial aid, salvation, and physics". 3. The way it's all extremely faithful to the game. Apart from the revised ending of course.

It was lovely, and well made.. But he just made this..? Doesn't make sense now, story-wise.. Oh well!
  • CAPST3R - May 31, 2011 4:12 p.m.

@TheHungryLemur: no, it's definitely before Portal 2, I'm not sure whether it's before or after the original (I never played it). But I think it's after, since she has the portal gun (excellent way to scratch your back!). In the last 2 years, I think there's been 3 films that I've liked. Hollywood's becoming less about the art and more about the money every day; so is gaming, for that matter, but we're still in the early years yet. Soon there won't be a damn form of entertainment left. Movies, games, music, hell even porn's going downhill. Oh well, it doesn't matter; there'll be a shit storm once the oil runs out anyway (thank you, last generation!). The water table's dropping like a stone too, and the economy is designed to be teetering over the edge constantly. And what will the human race's response be? To fucking fight. Of course, it'll bring the population down, but if it goes nuclear, we're fucked. Ah well, Duke Nukem's coming out in a couple of weeks. Stay positive, right? Also, what happened to those wind-up chattering teeth? I haven't seen them in years.

The self back scratching was one of the best ideas ever
  • tomthespesh - May 31, 2011 4:08 p.m.

That was just brilliant, I loves it. And that portal gun was awesome they even made it work!
  • AwesomeMan - May 31, 2011 4:02 p.m.

Awesome Video!! I loved it...also loved how Chell, when filling in her last name, began to write what looked like the name "Johnson." Nice touch...I kinda feel like cake now...
  • ObliqueZombie - May 31, 2011 4:01 p.m.

Very nice! It's amazing people have the skills and inituitive to design something like this. Honestly, it's gems like these that spark the rise of "Indie films," and the decline (in ratings) of "big-budget films." And whoever played Chell is kinduv attractive... :3
  • MJHAYLETT - May 31, 2011 4:01 p.m.

damn you Salt container, DAMN YOU.
  • joshjacobs - May 31, 2011 3:56 p.m.

  • Oliolioliooo - May 31, 2011 3:55 p.m.

    @ThehungryLemur It's pre-Portal 2
  • TheHungryLemur - May 31, 2011 3:52 p.m.

"Did somebody" This was incredible! I really like how accurate they got it! stupid question: This is set after the events of Portal 2, right?
