Shame games - the most embarrassing game in your history

A couple of days ago, we put out a question on our Twitter and Facebook pages: "Have you ever wished you could remove a game from your gamertag's public history? What was it and why?"

We've all been there, of course. You play a game that's either so bad you don't want it sullying your beautiful list of gaming memories, or you don't want the world to know you took 50 pictures of Kasumi's pants in DOAX2 (pretty sure that one doesn't exist - last count was 647 and we've still not even got 5G for it). For example, what's the odd one out here:

G-Force isn't actually a terrible game, but it just doesn't sit right next to Batman and Bayonetta. That's what happens when you buy your girlfriend the game with guinea pigs in it. And once it's there, it can never be removed (unless you didn't get an achievement in which case you can - phew).

So here we've put together your answers, which actually have a clear 'winner'. What will be the most embarrassing game in gamertag histories' history?

Games with ONE vote:

Sea Life Safari
Blacksite: Area 51
Mummy: Tomb of Dragon Emperor
Doritos: Dash of Destruction
Lost: The Game
Spider-Man 3
Bionicle Heroes
Iron Man
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe
Cars
Lego Batman
Mirror's Edge
X-Blades
TMNT
Sonic The Hedgehog
Dragon Age: Origins
Hannah Montana
Lego Rock Band
Rogue Warrior
Bullet Witch
Superman Returns
Deadliest Catch: Pacific Storm
Family Game Night
Onechanbara
King Kong
Ratatouille
Burger King Games
Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2
Night at the Museum 2
Rumble Roses XX

Games with TWO votes

Viva Pinata
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground
Totem Ball
Avatar The Burning Earth
Dynasty Warriors 5
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Kung Fu Panda
Yaris
Prey
Jumper

And the winner, with THREE votes

(Slow clapping dies down) That's quite surprising really. It's worth noting there were two Avatar games with two votes each, so that series must come a close second. We can see why you might not want the world knowing you've been ogling the ladies in Rumble Roses XX or X-Blades. But Lego Indy? It's not THAT offensive, is it?

Although I would be more embarrassed about having Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in my collection :)

I cant make up my mind which is worse; Perfect Dark Zero, Timeshift or Battlezone XBLA for mine.

I'm glad you guys didn't take another cheap shot at Nintendo and put Wii Music up there. Guess you guys are getting better about that.

  • DriveShaft - March 21, 2010 6:27 p.m.

Fallout 3? Whoever suggested that must be butthurt over getting kileld at the end x] But really - Lego Indy? I can think of a helluva lot worse games that didn't even make the list.

Mirror's Edge, really? :( I'd have probably said BFME II.

Dead Rising is mine, I just thought that game was so annoying. And who's voting for games like Halo 3, Fallout 3, and Bioshock? Those must be just to screw around.

I can't think of any games that I have achievements or trophies for that are embarrassing (then again, I haven't turned on my 360 in over 2 years, so I haven't gotten a lot of achievements lately), but in all honesty, you have to include me as someone who enjoys the hell out of the Lego games.

I got a game that I have no achievements for and I want to remove it from my history. How do I do that?
  • DagDabreemie - March 20, 2010 11:02 p.m.

    Stand Corrected.
  • DagDabreemie - March 20, 2010 11:01 p.m.

What? Not one game from Burger King?
  • sleepy92ismypsn - March 20, 2010 9:23 p.m.

  • Xeacons - March 20, 2010 7:38 p.m.

Yep. Actually, it was a toss-up between Lego Indy and Panda King- excuse me, Kung Fu Panda, since the two-game disc was bundled with the 360.
  • twinkletitsMcGee - March 20, 2010 6:45 p.m.

I was about to ask if you are playing games in the future but then I remembered that Europeans put the day first and not the month.

  • mattol58 - March 20, 2010 2:18 p.m.

I was one of the Viva Pinata voters reCAPTCHA: peewee goverment
  • VTheSystemV - March 20, 2010 12:07 p.m.

I bought Dash of Destruction. Free game, may as well see what it's like. To be honest, it wasn't THAT bad. Not something I would pay for, but for a free game it wasn't bad. Not great mind. WHY THE HELL IS DRAGON AGE ORIGINS A GAME TO BE EMBARRASSED ABOUT HAVING ON YOUR CONSOLE?! Isn't it supposed to be one of the best RPGs ever?!
  • philipshaw - March 20, 2010 10:53 a.m.

Mine would have to be the 2008 prince of persia, didn't like that game at all but there was easy trophies
  • Llanthas - March 20, 2010 8:48 a.m.

Avatar. Without a doubt. Although a game in which you can score 1000 GS points in 16 seconds (I timed it), cannot be avoided.
