Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City release date for PC revealed alongside new “Brutality” trailer

The upcoming alternate take on the classic zombie-slaying adventure Resident Evil 2 is fast approaching for consoles next month. But what about PC gamers interested in cooperative undead-killing/history-altering? Capcom today revealed the already announced PC version of Operation Raccoon City is hitting processors May 18. But we’re really burying the lead here, as the real point of interest is the bloody new trailer for the game. Watch all the ways you can brutalize the walking dead in the gory trailer below…

If you’re searching for something more expanded than just a blood-soaked collection of kills (philistine), then you should take a look at our expanded gameplay demo from a few weeks ago, or our fancy video preview. Capcom and Slant Six’s Raccoon City Operation goes live on 360s and PS3s March 20, and it’ll be appearing on PC monitors nationwide May 18.

Don't you think it's ironic how Capcom's PC ports sucked in the pre-2006 era and how they imrpoved little by little ever since, while most people complain how companies that did good PC versions in the past (Ubisoft, EA, Bethesda) are now blamed for DRM and consolification controls? As long as the game doesn't require Windows Games for Live like Resident Evil 5 did, I'm gonna buy it for PC.

Dang that sucks. But at least their still bringing it to PC. Looking forward to being a BA and dropping walkers with headshots. Thanks Capcom!!
