It looks as though Wii launch game Red Steel is the first of a series as developer and publisher Ubisoft is currently recruiting staff to work on its first-person shooter.
The job advertisement can be found on the Ubisoft website and our rudimentary French can tell you that the developer is looking for game designers to work on the "continuation of the Red Steel project."
While the game getting a sequel isn't exactly surprising it's interesting that Ubisoft is prepared to persevere with Red Steel, as the reception to it so far has been decidedly mixed. But obviously it believes there's enough in the idea and gameplay to stick with it.
