RadarPlays - One Late Night

Hey, nobody ever said we were brave. In this week’s installment of RadarPlays Freaky, Lucas, Tom, and Greg steel themselves for One Late Night at the office in this free indie game. Only, this particular office seems to harbor a dark presence--one that isn’t likely to be swayed by us wielding a ballpoint pen as a weapon. Sure, the build-up may take a while--but trust us, it’s worth it just to hear Tom scream like a pre-teen girl at a horror movie. We can neither confirm nor deny that he wet himself during this recording.

Want to hang out with GamesRadar's editors while taking a look at retro games, new releases, and totally random experiences? RadarPlays is for you. Mondays we'll be checking out blasts from the past on RadarPlays Retro, Wednesdays we change things up to whatever we feel like playing with RadarPlays Shuffle, and Friday is packed with the strangest titles you’ve never (hopefully) heard of in RadarPlays Freaky. We'll also release RadarPlays for all the new releases, so be sure to check back!

  • GR_LucasSullivan - March 25, 2013 10:17 a.m.

That may not be quite weird--excuse me, FREAKY--enough, but I'll def investigate further :)

Lol, Tom sounded like he had spontaneous diarrhea when you clicked the balloon.

I'm sorry, Lucas, I'm sorry that I said already known about all of your Friday games last week. You didn't need to do this to me.

    MuahahahahaWAHAHAh

That was scary!! I can't look at red balloons the same anymore and I'm sorry, but you guys made me laugh from your screams XD

That was pretty scary for a ghost game. I also thought that while reading that text and from the title that it was an office romance game. Oh and grow up gentlemen. As if a ringing phone and a red balloon are the scariest things you have ever seen in a game.

Can someone else watch this and tell me how scary it actually is?
  • BladedFalcon - March 22, 2013 3:41 p.m.

Sure thing! It was... Well, compared to your lovely play session of "Slender" back in the 24 hour marathon last year? I'd say Slender was scarier, if only because the setting was immediately more creepy, and it took longer to get some steam. That being said, this game seems to have more tricks hidden up it' sleeve that we didn't see in this video. Anyway, all in all? While I wasn't scared per se, I can see the potential, and if you hated slender Sophia, you probably will dread this one even as much if not more XD
  • awesomesauce - March 22, 2013 7:51 p.m.

Yeah, Falcon pretty much summed it up. It's like Slender with a broader gameplay and story
  • GR_SophiaTong - March 23, 2013 12:23 a.m.

Yes I hated Slender. So. Much.
  • BladedFalcon - March 23, 2013 8:23 a.m.

Awwwwwwwwww! But we all loved watching you play! XD Next 24 hour marathon day, you should play Amnesia: A Machine for pigs as a tier for charity :3 (Which SHOULD be already out by the time taht marathon happens again...)
