If you've ever wanted to track when Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida watches Netflix, the most recent PS4 system update will make your dreams come true. PS4 update 3.10 adds the ability to "follow" verified PSN accounts, making their activities show up on the "What's New" section of the dashboard.
At the moment there aren't too many "verified accounts of people and companies that are associated with games" to follow. But now that the feature has value beyond checking to see whether your Destiny teammate really is Adam Boyes, VP of publisher and developer relations at PlayStation, and not just some sick pretender, Sony will presumably start handing out more checkmarks of authenticity.
Reddit user BreakinBad has assembled a helpful list of verified accounts so you can get started. Just search for one of those PSN profiles, hit the "Follow" button, and their activity should begin to appear in your "What's New" feed, right alongside your 500th "Connor played Destiny" notification. Sorry about that.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar+.
