First trailer introduces new protagonist Sergeant James Heller

The debut trailer for Prototype 2 was recently unveiled on the VGA 2010 awards show. The video introduces a new protagonist, Sergeant James Heller and reveals that your goal will be to murder the hero of the original title, Alex Mercer.

We love the idea of introducing a new shapeshifter with a chip on his shoulder. Too bad it is scheduled to release in 2012.

I like the idea to play as a differt person but WHY do I have to kill alex mercer, I mean alex is so god dam cool, y do I have to kill him. I'd pefer he kill me

@KillerQueen Yeah, and the fact that they only showed the player character in obstructive full-body armour only makes it more dubious that Jimmy will be our hero.

is the guy in the hood the new protagonist or alex? cuz if your new guy is in a hood and such i find that pretty lazy design how about some creativity? a minor complaint seeing as you can take the form or any other person in the game lol but still

I was a big fan of the first Prototype, but I'll bet there'll be a crazy plot twist like halfway through the game where you start having to team up with Alex to face the ones that was supposed to be helping the Sgt.
