Bloody hell, I hope PETA don't find out I used to play WoW. I lost track of the number of boars, wolves, tigers, gorillas etc that I killed.

I had completley forgotten the rat stabbing incident of BF3 until just now. I wonder what PETA would think about me feeding (dead) mice to my snakes? Or cat food made of real meat to my cats? Or cucumber to my fish... OH MY GOD WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CUCUMBERS!!!!!

This is what's wrong with the world today. Notice that they find nothing wrong with killing humans but when you stab a rat, that's crossing the line.

I'll say it again. One can kill virtual vermin in most every RPG ever made as well as the Metal Gear Solid series, but PETA only seems to get around to this now. Not only to they tend to pick the wrong battles at all of the wrong times, they do so exceedingly slow pace. I'm guessing that ReCaptcha is observing that PETA is a collective of "Dynamic heremit".

i mean really PETA, who bloody cares? As soon as animals even go near harms way they get on their soapbox and over exagerate everything no matter the situation.

Inspiration for brutally killing small animals comes from having a psychotic mind frame. Video games and films won't create a need to do these things unless there is already a preconceived mindset.

    It's a game PETA! STFU!

"Inspiration behind these acts often came from movies and computer games.” Ever hear of a mouse trap? Also, WTF? The game is rated M for ADULTS blame parents.

I haven't laughed this hard since I heard about PETA boycotting Dreamworks SKG over the fishing boy in the logo.

I hadn't heard of that until now. Lol'd so hard.

Well, looks like Oblivion is hosed.

I'd imagine the vast amounts of German porn would have a more detrimental effect on young males then stabbing virtual ratties. But for those that actually go out and kill animals for sh*tz n giggles, i'd imagine are either a sammich short of a picnic, or incredibly bored.
  • IceBlueKirby - November 8, 2011 9:53 a.m.

Who's going to go around knifing rats in the first place? And, more importantly, who gives a crap about rats?
  • gmcb2011 - November 8, 2011 11:30 a.m.

It was a mandatory part of the campaign as you're crawling along somewhere. It was really nothing.
  • BladedFalcon - November 8, 2011 9:53 a.m.

*facepalms* Geezus, does those *sshats seriously have nothing better to do? At least i can take solace in the fact that no one will take this seriously... right?

  • Counternub - November 8, 2011 9:49 a.m.

I bet they had a heart attack when they played Metal Gear Solid 3 then....
  • Mezolitik - November 8, 2011 9:49 a.m.

Roughly translated, 'we can't find anything worthwhile to complain about'. You can kill rats in almost every video game ever made.
  • kc2 - November 8, 2011 9:49 a.m.

It's wring to stab a ray in the head, but y'know its completely fine stabbing a person in the neck.
