Metal Gear Solid Avatar clothes stealthily sneak on to Xbox Live

We’ve been pretty entertained by Xbox Live’s Avatar Marketplace lately. We’ve seen Skyrim clothesWWE wrestling attirefull RoboCop costumes, and the goddamn Batman. This week another important collection of for-pay digital clothing arrived: the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. Despite the series’ long history with PlayStation, now Microsoft-centric gamers can show their love for the series online by dressing their Avatar in Fox Hound shirts.

You can see the full list of them here with prices ranging from 80 MS Points ($1.00) for shirts to 400 ($5.00) for full costumes like the badass Snake in MGS2 look. Also worth noting are the Avatar items you’ll unlock for free with the game:

The 360 and PS3 versions of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection come to stores next Tuesday, November 8.

Had to grab the Fox Hound shirt for a $1. Didn't know there would be avatar awards for the game. With Skyrim and BF3, looks like I will get to this sometime around Christmas.

I have never found any of the full outfits appealing. My favorite pieces have been avatar awards like L4D2 and Fable 3 unlockables. Some cool Accessories for this one it seems.

I agree. The Med pack from L4D2 was pretty cool, as are the Portal gun and Cardinal pet from Portal 2 and Castle Crashers, respectively. When this finally comes to europe in Feb/March, my Item slot is SO reserved for the Shagohod. The race/fight against that was one of the tensest cutscenes I've ever seen in a game, especially on PS2.

The sneaking suits look so dumb.
