Konami Japan’s website was recently updated with job listings for 15 new positions at Kojima Productions for a ‘next generation Metal Gear Solid’ game. The job listings include openings for a planner, level designer, scripter, graphics programmer, network programmer, audio programmer, game character programmer, concept artist, various 3D CG designer positions, and a position for someone experienced with video production.
The position for graphics programmer requires a ‘deep knowledge of the latest CG technology’ and experience with the ‘PC/PS3/Xbox 360’ platforms, suggesting that the new hires will be put to work on a multi-console title.
The next multi-console Metal Gear game expected from Kojima Productions is Metal Gear Solid: Rising, which is scheduled to release sometime during 2012.
