I sincerely hope they add more, cause 6 fighters at launch even if you pay for the DLC or paid version is really kind of pathetic, considering any other given respectable fighter these days has a minimum of 8, if not 12 fighters. Heck, Mortal Kombat 1 had 7 playable fighters, and a 2013 game cant pull of more than that at launch? I know more are coming, but they had a long time to put this together, I guess I expected more is all

Microshit told Double Helix to rush the game and make it at launch. They are f*cking idiots, but Double Helix atleast made it with high care instead if rushing the game and making it a clusterfuck $20 is a great price and all the characters have different playstyles that it makes up for it.

My guess is that this is their way of testing the waters to see if the interest in a new Killer Instinct is as big as fans make it seem. They didn't want to go all out and risk losing big, so they're going to see how this does and decide where to go from there.

Im really curious to see how they'll make Fulgore His concept was an 80's based fighting robot, personally i like his KI2 look as it improved his limbs a bit, but were gonna have to see what route they'll take on Vulgore this time

Yep, although I think he was a 90s interpretation of the Terminator, mixed with Predator and was fitting to the Cyberpunk world KI was insinuating in its story. Also Fulgore turned into some kind of robocop when doing its humilliation move, I relate it because of the cheesy stop motion. Also I didn't know Orchid and Jago were siblings. More likely separated at birth, because, wow that's some weird career choices. Also Orchid beat Eyedol in canon, so is she the main character?

It was only until KI2 where they started making characters important with their arks and stuff Fulgore is the poster boy, Jago is the main guy with Orchid being the canon defeater of Eyedol, its like a fair share

I hope there's a season 2 of these characters. I'm glad they made each move set different here. This brings back good times for me and I can't wait!!!!!

Why is this posted on the PS3 page? It's hard enough to take that this will be an Xbox exclusive, no need to rub salt in the would... sheesh!

Nice breakdown of the roster Lucas. Your description of Sadira as an Ibuki type fighter has piqued my interest quite a bit. I know Ibuki isn't the strongest fighter on the Street Fighter roster, but I've always liked her combos and style in general.

Kim Wu is a boring and generic design, and her name is nonsensical and culturally ignorant (they may as well have a Mexican character named bonjour holaman). It's 2013, she doesn't belong in the realm of existence.

Spinal was freaking badass with that cthulu shield and that wheel on his back, making him more of the pirate he really is.
  • EAC73 - November 6, 2013 12:40 p.m.

I only hated Spinal because my brother always kicked my ass with him.

They better have all the originals. You can't remake a game without the old school.
