Is Plants vs. Zombies 2 coming soon?

Suggestive subject line in email from PopCap says “PsssssPvZssssst... save the date!”

Words: on July 10, 2010

A suggestive subject line in an email from PoPCap Games to PC Gamer says “PsssssPvZssssst... save the date!” That, along with this not-so-subtle image seems to hint that an exciting Plants vs. Zombies announcement from PoPCap is coming soon.

Above: Plants vs. Zombies was pretty awesome. It was last featured in GamesRadar's list of The Top 7... best games of 2009

Multiplayer PVZ would be sick. The Walnuts versus the football Zombies. Haha you could limit what people could build, obviously having all the plant/zombie combinations would be crazy.

Anyone know what the S.F. could be hinting at? Is it going to take place in San Francisco lol.
Super excited, and I knew it was only a matter of time. I hope they have multiplayer, co-op and versus.

I played the first Plants V.S. Zombieson the iPad. I thought it was pretty awesome, and would be fun to play on a plane, or something like that.

This is definitly PVZ2. If this was an Xbla version announcement then why would they send the email to PC Gamer?

Obviously if there says San Francisco maybe the zombies will go to that city, and we'll see some SF recognizable things like the bridge, the special houses and roads, etc.
Also i agree, just update the game a little, give some new really creative plants and some other kind of zombies, some new game phases, and it will still be a great game.

I'd say a DLC pack if not a sequel. Hahaha maybe it's a prequel?! Yeah a zombie outbreak somewhere's else in the US (San Francisco). I still play endless mode from time to time.

I'm hoping for a XBLA release, I'd like to have a reason to replay it while not hunched over a keyboard.

    SF? Represent!
Plants Vs Zombies was amazing, unfortunately the thriller Michael Jackson zombie was oddly ahead of its time.

just bring us new plant and new zombies and i'm very much cool with that...really.

remember: if it ain't broke, don't "fix" it.

gawd how i still hate EALA with their 'C&C 4' maneuver! :P

Of all their games, PvZ is the only one that has recognizable 'characters'. I hope they use it to their advantage and create a cheesy campaign, that could be pretty funny.
