I downloaded Angry Birds for free on my android. It wasn't even worth that price. Great Job!

I don't even think Angry Birds should be discussed in a video games site.
  • ChiChiRocket - July 13, 2012 10:17 a.m.

Hah, nice try, but I'm not even willing to pay the 99¢ for the game on my phone.

Activision have finally crossed the line to full on super-villainy.
  • ncurry2 - July 13, 2012 10:14 a.m.

+1 I am happy to say that I don't own a single Activision game. If I play their games, I rent or borrow a friend's (unless you count Blizzard which is in partnership with Activision. I do still own many Blizzard games)

You do realize that besides call of duty, Blizzard is there main cash cow.

Ha ha ha what? Angry Birds was an amusing distraction when I got it for free on my phone, but this is just absurd.

...That's cool I got it Free on my phone, and I still don't play it. I think Angry Birds has milked it's fame out.

    lol Activision promises more come.
  • taokaka - July 13, 2012 8:44 a.m.

But I already have angry birds on ps3 which I bought for an entire $2, do activision know about this much better deal for people desperate to play angry birds.
  • IceBlueKirby - July 13, 2012 12:34 p.m.

Same here. I had a few dollars left from buying a PSN card, so I downloaded Angry Birds on my PS3, which I also transferred to my PSP since I don't have a phone that can play it. But, man, anyone who would pay this much must have a hell of a nest egg. Amirite guyz? Anyone?

The puns in the article are worth more than the console versions
  • TheCakeIsaPie - July 13, 2012 8:25 a.m.

I would briefly consider playing Angry Birds if Activision paid me $40. Then I would ultimately decline and get the $40 elsewhere.
  • BlueScorpion91 - July 13, 2012 7:23 a.m.

I can get EVEN cheaper. on my Android based PLAY, I can get Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio AND Angry Birds Space for the much tastier price of zilch. That's £00.00p. And you know what? I still hate the fricking thing.
  • Rodpercent - July 13, 2012 7:18 a.m.

Ridiculous. People will pay it though and that's more ridiculous. I thought the 4.99 price for an un-updated angry birds on the windows phone was too much! (and it still is)
  • wheresmymonkey - July 13, 2012 8:32 a.m.

It's 79p on windows phone. Got all the add ons too,
  • vent - July 13, 2012 7:14 a.m.

Included with the game will be an exclusive membership to the Activision Most Gullible Game Purchasers On The Planet Club, which gives all members an added 30 bucks on the cost of all Call of Duty DLC

"More information on... come"?!? What are they selling us?
  • EmperorRadish - July 13, 2012 7:11 a.m.

Ha ha ha ha! That's fresh from the joke factory right?
  • Crimmy - July 13, 2012 7:09 a.m.

Nice Steam sale plug! Though I must admit the summer sale is outstanding so far.
