Guilty Gear goes RTS on 360

A new game in the Guilty Gear series that's been announced for Xbox 360 is surely going to have fans scratching heads.

Gone is the 2D beat-'em up action in Guilty Gear 2 Overture - as the sequel is named - and in its place is reportedlya 3D real-time strategy game with fighting elements.

Players pick characters that are called "Masters" and also have units to command and maneuver on a map as in an RTS. Apparently, battle "becomes more synonymous to a 3D fighting game" when you engage with enemies.

Sounds a bit like a real-time Advance Wars. We're intrigued.
