Grand Theft Radar: Guilt-free Grand Theft Auto IV

INTERMISSION!
Taking a break from our rapidly deteriorating career path, we decided it was time to let Niko relax a little. So when Roman called up to invite him drinking, we agreed. And while, for most players, this might lead to a bout of dodging cops while sitting drunk behind the wheel, to us it was just one more opportunity to behave like responsible adults.

Instead of getting into a car and pissing off MADD, we instead made Niko and Roman stumble around the sidewalk until they could hail a cab. This tends to take a while, because when the things actually stop, trying to enter them will usually put Niko flat on his face, where he'll lie until the cabbie gets fed up and speeds off. By the time we finally got a cab door open, Niko had almost sobered up enough to drive - but by then it was a matter of principle.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
