The debut trailer of one of this year's most talked about films was released yesterday and demanded repeat viewing - even if it was just to decide what you thought of the weird-looking blue Avatars.

Ubisoft has been working alongside James Cameron to produce a game of the film and now we have a trailer of that too. Watch it below...

    @ Killerwhalen - Well, I didn't think it was based on The Last Airbender, but then I saw an ad for something called Avatar, and it had this minute segment of this bald kid in a brown hood doing all these kung fu-like moves, while extuingishing all these lit candles around him with air. I'm not going to lie, I feel pretty friggin' confused right now. Forgive me for my insolence :( Haha. @ Giraffes - I consider them close to the same thing when they have the same name. At least, to begin with.

    Anyways, I think the film will be a dissapointment, and my internal jury's still out on the game.

    what a moron haha ou got burned there bud. anyway what was i gonna say. ah yeah ubisoft will 100% ruin this game like they do to everything else. just looks like Haze. i cant wait for the film but the game i'll certainly avoid.

    Fuck yeah, a game about a movie that's about a kid's cartoon. It'll definitely be a quality game, that much is for sure. No, really.

    No comments yet O.o But I wont say it -_- Looks interesting, although the Avatars look quite alot like that "thing" from Pan's Labyrinth, and both the game and the movie will probably turn out to be crap. Hey what can I say I'm pessamistic :(

    Eh. The movie might be ok but the game will probably not be as good as James Cameron thinks it will be. : P I'm not gonna buy it.

    Ya furry they're not even close to the same thing. I think the movie looks good (well the small portion ive seen) it has great visuals and the stroy looks interesting so hopefully the game is decent aswell

    @Furyspittles: Jeez I hope that was a bad joke, because if you honestly got James Cameron's Avatar confused with Avatar: The Last Airbender, then I weep for you.That is just unforgiveable.
