Does anyone seriously think that the Game of Thrones (game) looks awesome? The graphics look like something I would accept in the 90's and every person looks almost exactly the same. I'm just barely paying attention to it so I can laugh at every person who buys it and bawl at the people who preordered it.

Probably going to be a horrible -game- but an awesome -story- That's what $10 sales are for.

Max Payne 3 and Dragon's Dogma are the only games I'm interested in.

Sonic 4 ep. 2 Mario Tennis Also there's a new roller coaster tycoon? Des it play like the original ones? (Roller Coaster tycoon 1 & 2) If so, that'd be sweet....but if not then screw it....

I'm really interested in Tera, but I can't afford to play that AND SWTOR, let alone Guild Wars 2. That's just too little time for three MMOs--I'd get no where. And I'm sketchy about Max Payne 3 and Diablo III. I never played any of the other two, so I have no idea what's going on in either of them, though Diablo III is much more game-oriented than story I'm guessing. But it's a surprisingly good month! Dragon's Dogma, Ghost Recon, Mario Tennis, and Arkham City DLC will have me busy for a long while, not to mention all the other great games I'll be (re-)playing on my new PC.

Ummm. Why is there a picture of Dishonored where Fable Heroes are?

Starhawk is going to be beast!

Max Payne 3 is the only thing that I want. The other two games I was thinking about were Diablo III and Dragon's Dogma and over time Diablo III just got less and less appealing and finally they just outright slaughtered it by giving it a 60 Level Cap so they can just make EXPANSIONS TO RAISE YOUR LEVEL CAP BY 10!!. Dragon's Dogma is just a watered-down Monster Hunter.

Never mind don't want Max Payne 3 anymore because they already have fucking $30 dollar DLC pack and years worth of DLC planned Guess I'll just keep my money
  • BladedFalcon - May 1, 2012 2:07 p.m.

Such a narrow minded, stupid reasoning. The game that you're getting now is exactly the same before and after today's announcement. But meh, it's ultimately your loss. ^^
  • MetroidPrimeRib - May 1, 2012 2:21 p.m.

I don't give a shit about the game anymore. Rockstar is trying to cheat me with content already completed and now they're fucking dead to me. They can keep the game. They can rot.
  • Cyberninja - May 1, 2012 2:33 p.m.

Honestly for once I have to agree with Metroid if a game has dlc that costs half the game itself planed and revealed before its released, it only makes me wonder how much stuff is in the actually game.

    Lol
  • ObliqueZombie - May 1, 2012 2:52 p.m.

Wait, how do you know it's already MADE and not just PLANNED?
  • MetroidPrimeRib - May 1, 2012 3:01 p.m.

"Planned" is just as bad as "made". That means they have "plans" to take content out of the game you already bought and sell it back to you. Here's how this shit is going to go if people keep blindly defending it and buying it. First they'll come for the multiplayer, and I didn't speak up because I don't play multiplayer. Then they'll come for the preorders, and I didn't speak up, because I'm not a faggot. Then they'll come for the weapon skins and costumes, and I didn't speak up because that shit be cosmetic. Then they came for the single player, and there was no one left to speak up for me.
  • BladedFalcon - May 1, 2012 3:05 p.m.

Except they won't. Rockstar couldn't care what a self entitled, whinny ninny like you thinks. Their game is going to sell well, a plenty of other games are going to enjoy it just fine. Only you and a few other whiners are the ones missing out because they made a childish stupid tantrum. Rockstar could have well made the exact same announcement a month later, and you would have already bought the game. It would not have made a shred of difference. But yeah, keep saying they are dead to you, as if Rockstar had robbed you out of your home, or murdered your parents. Show how mature and much of a big man you are!
  • BladedFalcon - May 1, 2012 3:07 p.m.

Probably the exact same way it was in LA Noire. That game also had a lot of DLC content planned for it, and a lot of it was announced even before the game came out. But none of it was actually inside the disc. I know because I got the DLC, and downloaded the content itself. Had it been in the disc, I would have only downloaded a tiny file or something that would be the unlock key, not actual content.
  • Redeater - May 1, 2012 3:10 p.m.

Rockstar is one of the few people who I trust for DLC. I don't give a shit about multi player elements of the DLC but we have never been forced to buy it to enjoy any single player DLC. GTA4 Lost and Damned Ballad of Gay Tony Red Dead Undead Nightmare (possibly the best DLC ever made) If you have a problem slapping down $15-30 for some of the best DLC ever made I think you should just give up gaming.
  • MetroidPrimeRib - May 1, 2012 3:37 p.m.

You're forgetting the part were they worked on all of those for long periods of time after the game had been released.
  • MetroidPrimeRib - May 1, 2012 3:43 p.m.

I don't care if I'm "missing out" on the game. What I care about is that people will buy this game and will buy this DLC and make Rockstar and other devs think it's ok to set this kind of standard up. Now I'll probably pirate it - I planned on buying the game, but aparently they're holding off half of it.
  • ObliqueZombie - May 1, 2012 5:27 p.m.

Seriously, MetroidPrime, you need to rethink your philosophy on gaming. Not wanting to willingly pay for a game makes me question why you're even on this site in the first place. And if "planning ahead" on DLC is "just as bad as holding it," then that's kinda like saying it's a good idea to plan out a release date and budget before even planning on the game. If an author writes a novel and publishes it, you don't whine and complain that it's "unfinished." You read it and wait for the continuation, plain and simple. DLC is just another way of that continuation, and dammit, if you can't chalk up $10 for a very good story (see as: Minerva's Den), then get the hell off this site. Time to saddle up my high horse, but I think we true gamers are a little sick of your pirate preaching.
