Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon open-world video

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has lasers, cyborgs, gratuitous expletives courtesy Michael Biehn, and a full campaign independent of the original game. Fine, fine. But what does all this '80s hangover stuff mean for the best part of Far Cry 3: mucking about in the jungle with a backpack full of explosives?

These eight minutes of open-world gameplay with Creative Director Dean Evans answer that question thusly: fickle flightless dragons with laser breath. Also swears, so watch out for that at work.

If you're not excited about the $15 download coming to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 after that video, you probably have no appreciation for G.I. Joe cartoon battles looped together snuff-film style to a soundtrack of angry grunting, either. What's the matter with you?!

Definitely getting this now. Looks like loads of fun. Can't wait to fight a Blood-Dragon dinosaur thing. Always cool killing badass creatures.

I hope there are crazy LSD/ PCP power-ups that boosts speed and melee damage and makes the visuals all predator-vision :D

There isn't, the upgrade system is also quite different. You upgrade based on your level but you don't choose exactly what you upgrade. The bow is extremely powerful in this version, and considering how large the open world is, I'm kind of shocked at how small the actual game is (in terms of gigs, not things to do). It's a great game, and honestly worth quite a bit more than the $15 they're asking for.

Well, if i cant take drugs ingame.... haha jkjk, I can't wait for this + I would however love to see the original story expanded abit tho, maybe a Vaas backstory that follows him throught his life and shows how he became so insane...
