Activision's Reputation didn't turn sour because it merged with Blizzard. It turned Sour because it's head (Kotick) began to run it's mouth and spout shit that was cancer to any sensible gamer's ears. Then put words into actions by churning out disposable after disposable sequel for Guitar hero until it killed the franchise. Fired, for whatever justification it wants, but still got rid of a big part of the talent that put their CoD franchise to the top, and now is focusing at least 4 developers to churn out sequel after sequel. oh, and it killed Bizarre creations, and I wouldn't be surprised if raven was next. All of what i just stated is cold, hard fact. Just check that and you tell me if Activision is acting like a monolithic empire or not.

I want so much to believe them but stories like Bizarre just really make it hard for me to do that.

@FVDub Couldn't have said it better myself. When a company like Activision comes out saying "I'm not evil, honest!" you can bet their fingers are crossed behind their back.

If Activision has to reassure people they aren't evil, they are in fact evil.
