Greetings handsome men of GRUK Did any of you get a chance to watch EVO2012 on the stream (the largest fighting game tournament in the world if your not aware what that is) And my real question is what do you think about the onslaught of fighting games being released? just this year we've had Street Fighter X Tekken, Skullgirls and Virtua Fighter Final Showdown. Not to mention that we are gearing up for Persona Arena, DOA5 and Tekken Tag Tournament2. I will probably be getting all 3 of those game but only end up playing one of them consistently. Is the industry risking the chance of fighting game fatigue by releasing so many? I know there are lots of shooters and such during the year but fighting games somewhat require more investment and it becomes hard and time consuming to juggle multiple games. What sayest ye oh manly men of GRUK?

Well hello gentlemen! I trust this message reaches you all in fine fettle? Lovely. Now. Having racked my brain weekly for something insightful to prise out of your thought-bags I have eventually resigned myself to defeat and, as such, I ask you the following: Which part of working in games journalism do you dislike/detest/loathe/abhor the most? Possibly being forced to review/do a guide for a game you really dont enjoy? Interviewing someone you have absolutley no professional respect for? Or maybe having some of the mysterious video game 'magic' diminished, as you operate behind the velvet curtain and see everything laid bare. Warts n all. As it were. mmm. I only ask as from the outside it seems like one non-stop, balls-out, slam-dunking, tits-on-a-wagon(?) party! You lucky devils you! Anyhoo, keep up the good work guys. The podcast is, always has been, and will always be a shining beacon of genius, hilarity, and TEETEEEEEES! Much love to Dave, Justin, Cundy and Sheath McQueen! Kisses xxx PS. Does anyone know what the collective noun for a group of Pikmin is?

Hi Guys. My question(s) is..... Are you confident that the Wii U will be the Nintendo console that non casual gamers have been craving and will it be a success? Has what you have seen/played got you excited yet? I'm worried that it's becoming an weird mix of different ideas and play styles and will not have the third party pull it is trying to promote. It's almost a given Nintendo will put out quality games but will we just see ports of PS3/360 games with tacked on gimmicks? To me it's the home console equivalent to the Vita which I really want to succeed. Cheers

Dearest fellows, Thanks for your more than adequate answers to my very confusing and long winded question on the last podcast. Quick two here - Ouya. Is it gonna die on it's arse or is it going to be the Steambox that never was (so far)? Second is on international gaming, a subject that's popped up once or twice before here. Is gaming a part of holidays, or in a different way to usual? PS1 for me, which makes for a nice break from the PS3 clusterfuck of bullets and rage. Best wishes for the summer, I'll be back in 3 weeks from sunny(ish) South Africa, possibly even more expensive to game in than Australia. Brofists all round, with a knowing chuckle to Towelly cuz I found out he's an F1 fan.

Greeting. Gaming can be physically and mentally draining, so it's always good to take regular breaks. I find a cuppa tea and a biscuit always helps me recoup for another gaming session. So my question to you guys is twofold. 1) What do you do to recoup, while taking a break from your favorite game. And 2) What is your favorite beverage and biscuit? Hugs and gropes all round.

As far as I know, nobody has actually asked you yet... When push comes to shove, what is your favourite game of ALL TIME? if you can't pick...then just pick one from each console or each generation of consoles... I know how indecisive you lot can be! Can't get enough of that sugar crisp x

Greetings and Salutations, Do you ever find yourself not liking critically acclaimed, successful, and universally loved games which you believe you really should be playing and by extension, liking. I don't mean titles that belong to genres that you arent interested in, but games that should really fit the bill when it comes to your own tastes, but for some reason, you really cant be that arsed with? My example of this would be Deus Ex Human Revolution. I like shooters. I like RPGs. I like hybrids of both of these and I especially like Stealth in games. By rights I should be in love with this game. I should have invested countless hours in playing its many permutations. In reality I completed it at a slow pace due to apathy, never looked at the DLC and can't be bothered to replay it. Maybe because I found the world a bit sterile, the voice acting and character facial animations a bit wooden and the story a garbled, uninteresting techno babble fest. If there was one word to describe the game, I would say it was joyless. So is there a game that does the same to you? Thanks for the aural goodness every fortnight, keep it up A kiss on the cheek for Towelly and a spit-roast for Hooters and Cundy..

Greetings, men of GR:UK Podcast, I was wondering if you think it's more socially acceptable nowadays to be a gamer ? I've been gaming for 30+ years now and I still feel a bit embarrassed to admit I am a gamer if I meet new people. With the advent of mobile gaming and the Wii's popularity I suppose many people are gamers now but they probably wouldn't class themselves as such
