First Bioshock, then Dead Rising, and then Mass Effect. I hate how Xbox exclusives are being ported just for extra money and especially how everyone seems to agree with it. Porting may increase a company's revenue but it takes a way the integrity of the games in my opinion turning great games into common whores.

I don't think Sony fanboys would want it.

I could see this happening in 2012, similar to ME2 coming to PS3 for extra money, and PS3 fanboys know they want to see Gears on PS3no matter how much they deny it. However no one should get they're hops up.

It would be interesting to see how it would look on PS3.

Is there a reason to buy a 360? Yes... Gears of War (as it's NOT an announcement that it's EVER going to PS3), and there's Halo, there's Fable, there's Forza Motorsport, there's Kinect... it's not as if the only reason to own a console is because of exclusives. That's just absurd and fanboy baiting. You own a console to play the games you want to play on them. It's not like there isn't a wide, but quickly shrinking net of exclusives out there. Look how many exclusives Sony lost to MS over the past few years- it's not as if the trend isn't going to stop... but it doesn't mean a back catalog of stuff is suddenly going to poor in to the other system. If Gears goes to PS in some form or another (another trilogy after this one is over) then there will be a Sony developer making MS games (like Insomniac). Jumping ship or talking about jumping ship because a developer wants to make more money doesn't suddenly make a system less attractive. Gears going ONLY to Sony would be an upset. Mass Effect going ONLY to Sony- would be an upset. But as Call of Duty being the prime example of a multi-console piece of software shows that it's not about exclusives (as COD was just named the biggest PS3 game to date).

Is there really any reason to buy a 360 anymore that isn't Crackdown?

lol, sometimes i wonder why i even own a 360. The exclusives are just not there anymore.

This would certainly be a smart move on their part to reach a wider audience and make some more money in the process. Surely there's plenty of PS3 owners who have yet to play the Gears franchise, but would likely love to do so given the chance.
