Moon, the SF thriller directed by David Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones, has won the Michael Powell Award for new British feature at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. The film caused a major buzz at the festival, arriving with internet buzz from its Sundance premiere and was it was the first film at the festival to sell out. It also came second in the voting for the audience award.
Moon opens in the UK on Friday 17 July. It stars Sam Rockwell as an astronaut near the end of a tour of duty on the moon, who starts seeing things.
