The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

New Zelda game. Link's got a train! See the trailer

Watch The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks in locomotion

Nintendo has revealed The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks game for DS. Instead of a boat, Link's got a train. On the back of the train is a cannon. So you could, for a laugh, say the new Zelda game is an on-rails shooter. Besides rolling out the standard "it will please long-time fans while keeping the game accessible to all DS owners", Nintendo has said absolutely squat all else about Spirit Tracks.

We could tell you that it looks every bit as sweet and lovely as Phantom Hourglass, but you can see that for yourself by watching the trailer. So, er, go ahead and watch the trailer already.

Wow I'm shocked, is this some kind of april fools joke?

Nonetheless, it looks good, even if the premise is a little on the "Wait, how technologically advanced is the zelda series?" side.

Wow how unexpected was this?.

Looks like recycled Phantom Hourglass but that's no bad thing. Can't wait!

Now, Nintendo, about New Super Mario Bros. 2...

And for their 2010/2011 release Link discovers airplanes.

Hes skilled at:

Horseriding
Swimming
Sailing
Driving a Train

So why not a plane damnit?

I'd like to see him ride a giant squirell with a minigun strapped to it's back.

A TRAIN!?!?!?

whatever happened to Epona?
i like roaming free in the Zelda worlds, not following some track.

looks way to constraining for me, but the dungeons actually look great.

why add a little technology to zelda when you can just make it futruistic and quit wasting our f****** time?!

i do see much difference between a train and a boat in zelda, they're both kinda shite and really don't fit with link.

but PH was amazing, and as much as i do miss epona in the last few zelda games this looks pretty damn good. new enemies, new(ish) weapons and some damn fine looking puzzles, it's not to shabby. as long as there's no more temples with time limits that you have to repeat several times over i'm happy.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! I am fucking psyched!

Wow they really tried to advertise that gay boomerang thing and the train looked really retarded, nintendo is obviously trying to reach out to younger kids in their diapers. Phantom Hourglass was great and all, but this game looks bad

If anyone can make this work, Link can.

Considering how advanced Zelda's technology has gotten, it's only a matter of time before he has a cross over with Master Chief and fights the Covenant. :|

seems a bit too similar to phantom hourglass
with the addition to a couple more items, the fighting styles seem the same and the 2 screen boss battles are still great. but seriously A TRAIN!
im guessing the parts are customizable too

im either getting this or chinatown wars, leaning chinatown wars
