We never really bothered playing GoW2 multiplayer (Horde was alright). After spending days playing it where you had to wait -at least- 40 minutes every time you wanted to start a match, it was filed away for good. Same thing for Castle Crashers - they may be good games now, but it's far too late for them.

The lag is rather bad... And matchmaking is faster than at launch, but still way too slow.

Gears netcode has always been terrible, Gears 2 was horrible, unplayable, I'm amazed the guy hung on that long, I lasted two weeks

The lag issue was pretty nasty at first but I've gone back to the gam recently and had no problems at all (or at least the same amount as I do with any other game). Sounds to me like someone had a bit of a strop.

I regularly get bullet lag of about 2 seconds, which is not great. But I am playing on less then dial-up spread connection so I'm not going to blame Epic. What I will blame on Epic is the fucking host advantage, it's crazy. It's like running around in God mode/
