anyone really care that much.. i mean Dante is hardly mario, sonic, max payne, lara croft, metroid etc.. when it comes to beloved videogame characters.. and secondly (forgive me if i'm completely wrong) is this ninja theory's own take on the game? so why shouldnt they have their own look for the main lead. As long as it plays aswell as the trailer i'm happy.. oh and i hope they implement a finishing move where you put your cigarette out on an enemy.. that would be sweet.

Normally I'm pretty good at rolling with the punches when it comes to games, I find it easier just to go with the flow. I wasn't all that bothered about nero in DMC4 even though I didnt like his whiny character type......but this.......this atrosoity to one of the PS2 era's greatest icons is pretty much unforgivable. It may well be a competant game...but who gives a fuck if you don't like the main character...what's the point? He isn't supposed to be fuckin Sid Vicous, he supposed to be the son of sparda!

westernization done by japan needs to end. we haven't conquered Titan (gattaca anyone?), so meanwhile we can and should still westernize ourselves. x) OT: i hate the look of dante...but like most, like how the game looks... just wished it wasn't a dude called Dante.
