When it rains it pours

Spike Lee’s Oldboy remake has debuted a stylish new banner at Comic-Con, featuring a lone girl stood below an umbrella in the pouring rain.
Sadly, the film doesn’t have a panel at this year’s fest, but at least this new poster gives us a taste of what to expect from the completed film.
Just who that girl is revealed to be remains to be seen, but we’d hazard a guess at Elizabeth Olsen’s young social worker, with whom Josh Brolin’s protagonist finds himself forming a bond.
Brolin will play a man suddenly and unexpectedly released from long-term captivity, desperate to learn who locked him up in the first place and why they have now chosen to let him go.
Directed by Lee and co-starring Sharlto Copley, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Imperioli, Oldboy will open in the UK on 6 December 2013.
