Black Ops II Zombies trailer features 100% more Zombie Shield than previous Black Ops II Zombie trailers

The latest Zombies trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II reveals a new ‘Zombie Shield’, which looks like it’ll be just the thing for dealing with those awkward moments when you get bumrushed by a group of insatiable flesh munchers. See it in action:

As you undoubtedly observed, the Zombie Shield is constructed at a workbench, which suggests a weapons customization/crafting system of some sort will be introduced to Zombies mode. From this brief clip it’s impossible to tell how much creativity and diversity the workbench will offer players looking for new, ingenious ways to kill zombies.

The description blurb accompanying the video, which was posted on the Call of Duty YouTube page, offers the following insight:

“Collect the right pieces as you make your way through TRANZIT [Zombies mode map] and you might have a chance to put them to good use. Shotguns are classic, and rifles are powerful, but neither can compare with the cover offered by the ZOMBIE SHIELD!”

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is coming to PC, 360 and PS3 on 13 November. The Wii U version arrives 18 and 30 November in the US and UK respectively.

MW was the first CoD game to have a female character model, if I'm not mistaken, and then the rest of the MW games also had them (as civies). BlOps had some random females in the workplace in that one, on rails looking around level, but it made sense since it was about the 70's for there not to be any female soldiers. Not in BlOps2, we might ACTUALLY get a female main character!? That we can play as?! And will be IMPORTANT!?!? Cool. Lets hope they don't fuck it up! ;P On a somewhat-side note: I have always loved when they put females into games and let you PLAY as them, since, I can't be attached to a male character sometimes, due to the fact that I'm supposed to "be" them or something. But, with girl-player-characters, it's different, and I can get into the person in game, even if it's not an rpg. Also, the industry really does need some more strong female characters, and, fuck, if anyone was to make it mainstream, it might as well be CoD, since they have such a large appeal... Ooh, and the workbench looks bitchen' as well! :D
