If there's a secret formula for making compelling, engrossing adventures, Konami cracked it long ago with Castlevania. Last year's Dawn of Sorrow remains one of the best DS games available, and Portrait of Ruin plays very much the same - explore a vast castle and power up your vampire hunter with new abilities along the way.

The past four handheld games in this series have been outstanding, and with two playable characters, mischievous vamp sisters and demon-summoning powers, Portrait shouldn't disappoint.
