We fired the first salvo of official Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag news today, but while we reload our cannons we thought you might enjoy this first official trailer. Shiver yer timbers as CGI Captain Blackbeard gives us the low-down on assassin-pirate Edward Kenway (don't ask about the hidden blades).

    1 was flawed. 2 was amazing Brotherhood was near-perfection Revelations was a little dull It would've taken across the board awesome reviews to talk me into trying 3 And we're onto 4 already?? Yup... the annualise curse seems to be hitting again...

    Wow, I am actually looking forward to this game more than AC3 and I've only seen one trailer. The Mediterranean setting looks awesome with actual building that make sense to climb on, actual assassinations, cool naval sections, sexy women and of course the kickass combat. Plus there was that underwater scene which could be interesting if done right. Actually, I just hope the assassinations will actually be decent in this one. AC3 was a bit of a let down in this regard.

    I hope they go to Japan after this one.... Samurai during the day, ninja at night. This looks great too though.

    Ubisoft said that they'll never do Feudal Japan. China is very possible though
