Link won't be stuck with his usual green tunic in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In fact, he'll find an assortment of loot with its own RPG-style stats, as revealed in an extended gameplay trailer at Nintendo's E3 event.
Link emerges from a long sleep in the "Shrine of Resurrection" in naught but a pair of trunks, but he quickly finds some roughshod pants and a shirt to boost his defense value. After leaving the Shrine, he finds a stick and equips it as a weapon. Once he finds more weapons, like an axe and a broadsword, he can cycle through them at a button press - be careful, since equipment can break down if you use it too long.
We've only seen a bit of Breath of the Wild so far, but it's already clear that it's the most unique Zelda game since possibly the original. We'll have our own extended gameplay impressions to share soon.
