WWE 2K20 roster: every confirmed wrestler, including Hulk Hogan, Bray Wyatt & Mick Foley

Cesaro & Sheamus

As of early November, tag-team The Bar's WWE status remains uncertain: Cesaro was drafted to Smackdown in October, while Sheamus underwent a leave of absence resulting from a concussion. Whether or not they're still together, the pair's entrance is still available in WWE 2K20.

Chad Gable

A mistake on the WWE 2K20 website suggested we were getting two versions of Gable. The longer haired version found a degree of tag-team success with Jason Jordan, while newly trimmed Gable's best solo storyline has been a feud with 'King' Baron Corbin. In fact, it's only the longer-haired version in 2K20. Bah.

Charlotte Flair & Ric Flair

Alongside Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley, Charlotte plays a figurehead role in the returning 2K Showcase mode this year - the entire story is based upon the rise of WWE's self-proclaimed Four Horsewomen. Father Ric still makes sporadic appearances for WWE, such as the recent Raw Reunion, at the grand young age of 70.

Christian & Edge

Edge was confirmed as part of the WWE 2K20 collector's edition, and long-time tag partner and best friend Christian followed soon after. Sadly, rumours of an in-ring comeback for the 'Rated R Superstar' came to nothing in October, when Edge emphatically confirmed that he still isn't cleared to wrestle.

Chyna

Absent from the WWE series since its PS1 days, Chyna finally makes her return as a Collector's and Deluxe Edition bonus – and with Mixed Match Tags added this year, you're able to team her with former DX buddies Triple H or Shawn Michaels. Sadly, Joanie Laurer passed away in 2016 at the far-too-young age of 46.

Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

The former Major Brothers and Edgeheads pulled off one of the year's biggest shocks at WrestleMania by sneaking the Raw tag titles away from The Revival – only to have a brief and anonymous run with the gold. That was a letdown after the entertaining story of Hawkins' 269-match losing streak.

Dakota Kai

This plucky New Zealander endured a couple of major setbacks in her early NXT career – most recently being shelved for nine months by a torn ACL. Yet she's shown huge likability in matches against Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler, in the process securing a leap from DLC to on-disc roster.

Dana Brooke

Long considered on the roster bubble, Brooke has put in some surprisingly fiery performances on Main Event this year – and even cut a believable promo on Ronda Rousey ahead of WrestleMania, in the process ensuring another year in both real and virtual WWE.

Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan

WWE 2K19 focussed its showcase mode on Daniel Bryan and while his appearance here isn't as prominent, he does play a key role against 'Swamp Monster' Bray Wyatt in the first WWE Originals DLC pack. This will be the first appearance of Rowan's eco warrior gimmick, after bidding farewell to the Bludgeon Brothers.

Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson

WWE's most technically proficient tandem were linked with a move to AEW throughout 2019's first half, with the social media hashtag #FTR assumed to stand for 'Free The Revival'. But they've been given a stronger push since, raising hope that company bosses have finally cottoned on to their superb skills.

Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre

The unlikeliest tag team of 2018 split earlier this year, but their remains in the game in case you fancy reuniting the wily Scotsman with his bleached-blonde sidekick. Ziggler's character is turn-over material these days. McIntyre, however, still has serious main event potential.

Drew Gulak & Tony Nese

One-time tag partners, Gulak and Nese took to feuding over the Cruiserweight Championship during the summer – with pulsating results for the 18 people who watch the criminally underrated 205 Live network show. Both return this year following their debuts in WWE 2K19.

Ben Wilson

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
